Well, when you do decide to join up for these locomotive excursions, the first thing you should know is that all of the trains are going to depart from Central Pacific Railroad Freight Depot in Old Sacramento. So if you are going to go on one of these journeys, you need to show up to the railroad prior to 11 AM or 1 PM, depending on your time of departure.
As an adult, you will have to pay $12 for your ticket to ride on the train. If you are between the ages of 6 to 17, your tickets will only cost half the price at six dollars per person.
